Just days after the 2010 Academy Awards nominations were announced, several sites on the Internet began making available for download 2010 printable Oscar ballots in preparation for Oscars night, Sunday, March 7. This year sees ten movies up for Best Picture, with a huge box office smash Avatar named among those elite ten. With so many flicks up for Best Picture and other categories, you'll definitely need printable Oscar ballots to hand out to guests, or pass around at work if you are planning to have an office pool. If you are playing by yourself or in a group, there are also interactive ballots available online.

2010 Printable Oscar Ballots

Moviephone's printable ballot is pretty bare bones, with radio buttons to check off or fill in. It lacks a certain Je ne sais quoi, but it will do the job for an office pool situation. The categories are listed in three columns, and it can be a little hard to read because of that layout.

For everything Academy Award related, head over to Oscar.com. There you can read more about the hosts, the nominees, and even play a little Oscars trivia while you wait for the big night on March 7. The printable ballot available at Oscar.com is billed as the official ballot and may be a good choice for Oscar parties. I like the way it is laid out because each category is separated from the others on this ballot, making it easy to read.

Well that sounds fun. If I ony had channels to watch and more friends interested in the Oscars, I'd do it. I for one would not be voting for Avatar. My and the friends I do have that are aware of movies that have been out this past year, weren't really that impressed. Just another attempt to make a movie ou of a video game. But that's just us. I know many other people like the movie.
