2010 Razzie Nominations: "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" Faces Off Against Another Vampire Movie

The Razzie nominations for 2010 are definitely proof that the world has grown weary of sparkly vampires. "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" ties "The Last Airbender" with a whopping nine 2010 Razzie nominations, but it also has to beat out another vampire movie in the Worst Picture category.

Besides "Eclipse" and "The Last Airbender", the other Razzie nominations for Worst Picture include "Vampires Suck", "Sex and The City 2", and "The Bounty Hunter". Oddly enough, Matt Lanter and Chris Riggi, who play the Edward and Jacob spoofs in "Vampires Suck", aren't nominated in the Worst Actor category, while Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson both earned nominations for their roles in "Eclipse". They'll be competing with Gerard Butler, Jack Black, and Ashton Kutcher in that category, so it's going to be one tough contest there.

Kristen Stewart's role in "Eclipse" also earned her a Razzie nomination in the Worst Actress category, where she'll face off against Miley Cyrus, Jennifer Aniston, Megan Fox, and all four "Sex in the City 2" stars.

Miley Cyrus' dad earned one of the 2010 Razzie nominations in the Worst Supporting Actor category for his role in "The Spy Next Door", where he'll be competing against costar George Lopez, Dev Patel, and Rob Schneider. But it's going to be hard to beat Jackson Rathbone in this category; he's nominated for both "Eclipse" and "The Last Airbender".

Some of the more interesting 2010 Razzie nominations come in the Worst Supporting Actress category where three divas, Barbra Streisand, Cher, and Liza Minnelli, are all competing (too bad they can't decide this one with a sing-off). They're joined by "The Last Airbender" star Nicola Peltz and Jessica Alba, who was nominated for four different movie roles: "Valentine's Day", "The Killer Inside Me", "Little Fockers", and "Machete".

But one of the funniest 2010 Razzie nominations comes in the Worst Screen Couple/Ensemble category, where Megan Fox's accent and Josh Brolin's face from "Jonah Hex" are up against Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler in "The Bounty Hunter", the whole cast of "Sex and the City 2", the whole cast of "Eclipse", and the whole cast of "The Last Airbender".

So there's likely no chance of anyone winning a Razzie and turning around and winning an Oscar this year based on the nominations, but maybe one day Jennifer Aniston or Kristen Stewart will pull a Sandra Bullock. In the meantime, it will be interesting to see if M. Night Shyamalan's one movie without a twist can pull off more wins on February 26, 2011, or if the fatigue caused by sparkly vampires sucking the life out of us for so many years will help "Eclipse" reign supreme (and hopefully Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson do win in their respective categories; they might actually be cool enough to show up).
