The bad news affects everyone, even the children. They know something big is going on even if they do not know exactly what. The children need an escape even if it is only for a week. Children should be kids and not spend their time wondering what will happen to them and their family.
Summer camps are everywhere in Port St John, Florida. It is a matter of finding out where to go to register. Once you have accomplished the daunting task of finding registration information, then you are faced with the dilemma of how to pay for camps. Summer camps are expensive for families that are on a budget. If a family is smart, they are saving all the money that they can for the crisis ahead of them.
Many day camps cost over $100. One hundred dollars a week per child quickly adds up. Parents may want a list to save time and money searching for inexpensive camps. Here are a few summer camps that you can go to for under $100.
Challenger 7 Elementary School as well as Enterprise Elementary School has summer day care. The school camps are usually provided for children with working parents. The schools provide a safe and fun environment for the children to play and learn during summer. Both schools charge $90 a week. The children go on interesting field trips too. This might be a good choice for school age children.
Port St. John Community Center offers a day camp for children ending kindergarten to the 8th grade. If you choose to take your child to the all day program from 6:30 A.M. to 5:45 P.M., the cost is $90 a week. If you choose to go to the summer program from 9 A.M. to 4 P.M., it is $60 a week. To choose a week long camp for $60 is truly a bargain. Activities vary by day and week, but there is plenty to do including swimming, movies, arts and crafts, and athletics. If you choose this day camp you need to pack lunch and snacks for your child.
If you are interested in specific camps Brevard County Parks and Recreation can help with information if you call (321) 633-1874. The camps are from 9 A.M. to 4 P.M. unless otherwise stated and the cost of the camp is $60 a week. For an additional $30 a week before and after care is provided from 7 A.M. to 6 P.M.. If you only need before care or if you only need after care, the cost is $15 a week. Each camp runs weekly so you can even mix and match camps.

Sports Camp is for 8-12 year olds and includes different sports as well as instruction, game days, and even field trips. Sports camp is available from June 7th through July 23rd. My friends little boys loved this camp. It comes recommended.

Marine biology camp is for ages 10-16 years old. Canoeing, boat tours, wildlife presentations, and marine research and field trips are all a part of this fascinating camp. These are one week sessions Mon-Thurs 9 A.M. - 4 P.M. and Friday 9 A.M. - 6 P.M..
Your middle school or high school student may enjoy teen camps with swimming, games, ice skating, sports, movies, theme parks, and water parks. One teen camp does not have before and after care where the extreme teen camp does. Teen camp is from June 7th - July 23rd and extreme camp is June 1st through July 30th.
If you are planning to put your child in camp for a week, you want the camp with the most fun and the most affordable. These camps have the best of everything for the money. If you are going to send a kid to camp you might want to check these out. I had to call for all the information so maybe this will narrow your search.

Post a CommentGreat listing.
Great options for kids this summer well done.
Good guide for the summer. thanks
Good article! I would think some church camps might be a good inexpensive alternative, too. Most people I know - even very wealthy ones - are scared right now, Jane. If we don't get rid of the IMF's grip on this country we are all going to be in a different kind of camp pretty soon. The criminal international bankers are sucking the life out out of us all through the IRS and Federal Treasury. The banks, insurance, the Fed, and the criminal taxing entities are all one international body - a parasite! We need a remedy fast! Useful article, by the way!
I always went away to camp when I was growing up, and I loved it. The nature and marine biology camps sound like a lot of fun.
Hi Jane! I saw that you had commented on a 2008 article I just wrote a response to and thought you might be interested: http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/2964980/sex_hell_and_the_pope_explaining_3.html?cat=9. I look forward to reading more of your work!
