This year an assortment of guest artists will perform throughout the week. Leading the entertainment is the famous Chubby Checker who will sing on Sunday, October 3rd and Monday, October 4, 2010 at 2:00 and 7:00 p.m. both days. On Tuesday, October 5th, The Beelzebubs, an all-male a cappella group from Tufts University, will entertain the crowd. The group, Gloriana, will perform on October 7th followed by the musician, Uncle Kracker, on October 8, 2010.
Coolidge Hall located near the center of the fairgrounds is home to artists and bakers during the week. Smells of scrumptious homemade bread wafts throughout the building while colorful homemade crafts, such as beautiful handmade quilts, line the walls.
Demonstrations at the fair this year include performances by Dana Kunze, World Diving Champion. At the Blacksmith Shop watch blacksmiths forming tools and other objects over hot coals. Visit the Giant Pumpkin Contest, The Beekeeping and Honey Show, the Sand Sculptures or the Open Sheep Show. A multitude of other events are well worth seeing. These include cattle, the Draft Horse Show, stunning Clydesdale horses, Horse and Oxen Pulling, sheep and the amazing Royal Canadian Mounted Police.

Post a CommentHi, just so you know the World Champion Diver will not be performing this year. Everything else sounds great though!
