There are plenty of summer activities for kids to do but it can be hard to determine which one you should allow your children to participate in. You want something that is safe yet fun. One of your better summertime activity options is Vacation Bible School. It's at a church which is generally a safe setting. You also do not have to be a member of a church to send your kids to VBS as churches love to welcome new people. 2010 VacationBibleSchool's in Arlington, Texas #1: First Christian Church

First Christian Church is working together with First Presbyterian Church to bring your child a super fun VBS experience. VBS starts on July 6th and ends July 9th. There will be a Kids Camp in the morning and a music camp in the afternoon. The kids camp is available to children up to those that have completed fifth grade and the Music Camp is open for Kindergartner's through 5th graders. The morning session starts at 9 AM and ends at 12 PM. The Music Camp begins after the morning session with pickup time being at 3 PM. Kids staying for Music Camp will need to bring a lunch. 2010 VacationBibleSchool's in Arlington, Texas #2: First Baptist Arlington

Big Sea Adventure is the theme for First Baptist Arlington's VBS this year. This Vacation Bible School is free and kids who are entering Kindergarten to those that are entering 7th grade may partake in the fun. There will be games, bible stories, crafts and more. 2010 VacationBibleSchool's in Arlington, Texas #3: St. Barnabas United Methodist Church

St. Barnabas UMC will be having a Galactic blast the week of June 21st through June 25th. VBS starts daily at 8:45 AM and ends at 12 PM. Children four years through sixth grade can attend. Grace Lutheran Church is having VBS on June 14th through June 18th. It is for kids three years old to up to 6th graders. The theme is High Seas Expedition. It starts at 9 AM and ends at 12 PM. VBS is only open to 180 kids so you will want to hurry and register your child. Kid will have fun times learning about the Lord through stories and crafts. 2010 VacationBibleSchool's in Arlington, Texas #5: ArlingtonAdventistChurch

VBS is June 21st through June 25th at Arlington Adventist Church. The theme is High Seas Expedition. The fun begins at 9:30 AM and ends at 12 PM. Kids 3 to 6th grade may register. If your child is not potty trained, you will need to stay with them during VBS. There will be crafts, games where you work together as a team, songs, snacks and more.     I do love VBS's for the kids! I have ever since I was a kid and went to them! I always had so much fun.
