2010 VacationBibleSchool's in Austin, Texas #1: The FirstBaptistChurch of Austin
The First Baptist Church of Austin is having a VBS with the theme "Seeking the Kingdom." It is a character building VBS that will teach kids how to build their own character while serving God. VBS begins on June 7th and ends June 11th. Your child needs to be at VBS by 9 AM and it is finished at 12 PM. It is free to attend and is for kids four years old to those that have completed fifth grade. 2010 VacationBibleSchool's in Austin, Texas #2: Saint John's UMC
Galactic Blast is the theme at Saint John's UMC this year. VBS starts on July 12th and ends July 16th from 9 AM to 12 PM. Kids will make crafts, sing songs, have treats and make new friends. There is a $20 fee per child to attend. If you can't afford the fee, they do have some scholarships available. Kids 4 through those that have completed 5th grade may register. Saint Mary Cathedral, located at 203 E. 10th St., Austin, TX 78701, will be having VBS on July 12th through the 16th. Vacation Bible School is open to children five through twelve years old. There will be bible stories, crafts and snacks. It starts at 8:30 AM and ends at 12:30 PM. There is a cost of $30 dollars per child. The theme this year is Parachute with the Angels. Saddle Ridge Ranch is the theme at Great Hills Baptist Church. Their VBS will start on June 14th and end June 18th. The fun starts at 9 AM and ends at 12 PM. Kids may attend if they are in the age range of four years old to older kids who have completed fifth grade. A VBS t-shirt may be purchased for eight dollars. You can register your child online here. Your child can go on a High Seas Expedition at New Life Church United Pentecostal Church. VBS begins July 12th and ends July 16th. This Vacation Bible School is in the evening and starts at 6:30 PM and ends at 9:30 PM. Children who are four years old to fifth grade graduates may attend. Post a CommentI know that $30 for a week of VBS isn't a bad price but I could never afford that for the kids. I miss the days when VBS's were free for all kids.
