2010 New Year's Eve Parties and Dinner in New Brunswick, NJ

New Years Eve 2010 at Perle (13 Paterson Street) and Glo (367 George Street) at perlenj.com. For $55 you get admission to both clubs, which are walking distance from each other, and both are open until 6 am. The price includes 3-hour open bar from 9pm-12am, a champagne toast and assorted hor d'oeuvres. Tickets can be bought online through pay pal using major credit cards.

Christopher's Bar at the Heldrich Hotel on Livingston Ave. is offering several different packages for New Years Eve.

Bar Package: For $70 per person (not including taxes and gratuity) you get a four hour open bar from 9pm-1am, a midnight buffet, DJ, and party favors. Call 732-214-2200 for tickets.

Dinner Package: For $79 plus tax and gratuity you get a 5-course dinner with includes an appetizer, soup or salad intermezzo, entrée, and dessert plus a champagne toast. Items on the menu include seafood martini bar as an appetizer, intermezzo option of mango sorbet, and some main course include fish, lamb, chicken or filet mignon options, desserts are apple cheesecake or chocolate mouse bomb.

Either package may be combined with a nights stay at the hotel for a total of $319 per couple that includes the hotel stay and the bar package or $349 for the dinner and hotel package.

New Brunswick Hyatt package includes a room for two and a party package at Club INDABLU hosted by DJ Yoshi. Five hour open bar, tapas style food, free parking, and champagne toast, party favors for $425.50 including taxes for two. Dress to impress.

The Frog and Peach has a 7 to 11(from 7pm-11pm) Prix Fixe Menu. Menu courses include options such as Kobe NY strip and Mayan Prawn and Classic lobster Newburg. Dessert options are blood orange semifreddo and warm pistachio cake including other options. Cost is $75 excluding tax and gratuity.

Harvest Moon microbrewery and restaurant on George Street is having a $60 open bar from 9:30pm-1am.

The Stress Factory comedy club is hosting two shows by Kevin Brennan, of the movie Half Baked. The early show starts at 8:00 pm, seating begins at 6:00pm and a buffet will be served. All ages for $45. The late show begins at 10:30pm with seating beginning at 10:00pm. The late show has an open bar and buffet for $97 plus tax including a champagne toast at midnight. After the show ends, the seats will be moved and the floor will become a dance floor and the club and bar will remain open until 3 pm. Special rates to stay at the Heldrich hotel through the Stress Factory.

Old Bay will be having a $75 per person dinner buffet and open bar (8pm-11pm) by reservation only. There will be live entertainment including the band "The Old No. 7 Band". Some examples of food at the dinner buffet are shrimp Creole, vegetable zucchini boat, and roasted corn with bronzed chicken chowder.
