2010 New Year's Poem- Start Again
This perfect white snow
If it truly reflected how I've been this year
Pure and clean
Admirable
Dropping slowly and peacefully
No harm in sight
When will the children run out to play?
And ruin the harmony of this perfect white
Muddy footprints
Twigs with sharp edges
Was it ever soft?
Be my life
Reflect my year
Can I forgive me?
But now I'll start again.
