One of the hottest fashion trends for 2010/2011 is the military look. From jackets to boots to shirts to skirts, and even camouflage underwear, but what about makeup? Anyone who has brown, gray, blue or green eyes can rock this look with no problem. That's right, you can create your own military or camo style on your face using eyeshadows, liner, and a glossy lip.

You can make your eyes have the smokey military look, glittery look, bold and drastic, soft and romantic, or wild and crazy actually making a camo brown and green print on the eye lids. It's all how to want to wear it.

Choose Your EyeShadow Colors

For most people they consider the military look olive green. However, the style can also be created using dark and light pink mixed with brown, gray and white mixed with black, dark and light blue mixed with tan, dark green mixed with black and gold, or even a soft and romantic touch using olive green mixed with tan, white, and tangerine.

Applying The Shade

Are you going with one, two, or three colors. If your using just the green make sure to use various shades. Dark, light, and medium green. Use the light green on whole eyelid. Then in the middle use the dark followed by the light. To make your eye stand out more, go ahead and apply a white shadow under brow bone.

Pink military look use a deep mauve shade on entire lid. Then in the crease use a brown followed by a light pink on top.

Smokey Military inspired look use a nice soft charcoal on the lid followed by a soft black in the middle and white on top. Smudge it slightly to blend it in, and apply the black shadow underneath the eye followed by a thick black liner.

Quick tip: To make the eyes pop out more, and the colors brighter prime your eyes first. You can use a cheap brand like NYX, Wet N Wild, or Too Faced. Make sure to cover the entire eye lid, and don't go overboard with the application. Just a light base will work out fine.

Once the military look is finished, do up your lips. Go ahead and be bold. Create a pouty look by outlining your lips and filling them in with a soft pink color. Then on top place a super glossy clear or pink shade.
