2011 Billboard Music Awards Finalists (Complete List of Finalists)
Rihanna Received Most Nominations at 18, Eminem with 16, Lady Gaga at 12; Tied with 11 Bruno Mars and Justin Bieber
A number of artists received numerous nominations above the rest of other finalists. Rihanna captured the most at 18 in the major categories of Top Artist, Top Female Artist and Top 100 Artist. Eminem was a close second with 16 nominations dominating the major categories and rap music. No award show would be complete without Lady Gaga and her nominations of 12. Most of those were in the Dance/Electronic Album category. Tied at 11 were Bruno Mars and Justin Bieber whose categories favored the social media.
This year's Billboard Music Awards will be presented live on ABC TV for the first time at 8 p.m. ET on Sunday, May 22. The telecast is coming from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Here is a complete list of finalists for the 2011 Billboard Music Awards:
