On Saturday, April 16, 2011, Immanuel Presbyterian Church is having their Easter Egg Coloring & Hunt from 10:00 A.M-11:30 A.M. Along with coloring eggs and hunting for candy-filled eggs, children will be read a story and doing a craft. Children of all ages and their families are all welcome to participate. They ask each family to bring one dozen, hard boiled, white eggs. Any other donations necessary for this event are greatly appreciated also. On Palm Sunday, April 17, 2011, St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church is having an Easter Egg Hunt, which starts at 9:50 A.M. They prefer the children to first meet in their Friendship Hall (with their Easter baskets) between 9:35 A.M.-9:45 A.M. and then they will be led onto the courtyard (northeast area of the premises) by an adult to start their big Easter egg hunt. It is for children ages preschool through third grade. After the Easter egg hunt, families can sit on the grass and enjoy their treasures. Last year they had a few dressed-up Easter characters there to delight the children, including an Easter Cow. The Church is located at: 7650 N. On Saturday, April 23,2011, the Reid Park Zoo will be having an Easter egg hunt from 8:00 A.M.-9:00 A.M. There will also be live animals present, crafts to do and the Easter Bunny joining in on the fun. All ages are welcome to participate and children under 14 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. This event will take place rain, or shine. Prices are $5.00 for member adults; $7.00 for non-member adults; and $8.00 for children ages 2-12. Children under 2 are free. Pre-registration is required. Registration can be done online under "Classes Programs and Camps" at: http://www.tucsonzoo.org/education/ The Reid Park Zoo is located at: 1100 S. Randolph Way and can be accessed from E. On Saturday, April 23, 2011, the Tucson Continental Ranch Neighborhood will be having an Easter egg hunt at the Windmill Park from 10:00 A.M.-1:00 P.M. This event is for Continental Ranch residents ages 0-10 and participants should bring a non-perishable food item to their office from now until April 15th to get an entry ticket for their child. The Easter Bunny will also be at this event. Continental Ranch is a community at the foothills of the Tucson Mountains. The Continental Ranch Community Association serves 2 Tucson Foothill's communities and they are located at: 9150 N. Coachline Blvd. Their telephone number is: 297-7600. Windmill Park is at this same location.

Check your Neighborhood Association because as I researched this I saw that many had one last year, so they may possibly be having an Easter Egg Hunt this year too.

If you want to take a car trip to Amado Arizona, on Saturday, April 23, 2011, Agua Linda Farm is having an Easter and picnic from 10:30 A.M.-2:00 P.M. Admission fee includes the picnic lunch. There will also be live music for the kids, pony rides, face painting, farm animals to visit with and feed, scenic hayrides, you-pick vegetables and more. Picnic tables are available, or you can bring your own blanket to sit on. This event will take place rain, or shine. RSVP is recommended, which can be done on their website and walk-ins are also welcome. Admission is $18.00 per person. On Easter Sunday, April 24, 2011, in Tumacacori, Arizona, Avalon Organic Gardens, Farm, and Ranch is having their annual Family Easter Celebration which includes an Easter egg hunt. The event is from 11:00 A.M.-3:00 P.M. There will also be a hayride, live music starting at 1:30 P.M., refreshments and much more. At 11:00 A.M., the hayride will take participants to the Easter egg hunt area. A garden tour starts at 12:00 P.M. Suggested donations are: $6.00-adults; $4.00-teens; $3.00-ages 11 and under. When it gets closer to Easter time, check to see if any of these places, associations and churches are having an Easter egg hunt this year, as they had one last year:

The Forty-Niner Country Club located at 12000 E. Tanque Verde Road. Their telephone number is: 520-749-4001. This Country Club is also well-known for its beautiful golf course.

The Dietz Neighborhood Association had an Easter egg hunt last year at Dietz Elementary School Playground, which is located at 7575 E. Palma (north of Golf Links Road between Prudence & Pantano Roads). Their telephone number is: 520-296-5021.

The Southern Arizona Telecom Pioneers. Their telephone number is: 520-241-6849.

Contact your own church's office to inquire about them having an Easter Egg Hunt. You can also call, or stop in any church to ask if they are having an Easter Egg Hunt this year.
