Nominees and Winners for MPSE Golden Reel Award and ACE Eddie Award

Every year, the Motion Picture Sound Editors (MPSE) and American Cinema Editors (ACE) honor outstanding editors for their craft in film and sound editing. The MPSE gives out the Golden Reel Award for the best sound editing and the ACE gives out the Eddie Award for the best film editing.

Film editors are those post-production geniuses who put that final brushstroke on a film's canvas. Editors (Film or Sound) are the sculptors of a film's raw materials, making them highly responsible for the film's finished product. Here are the 2011 nominees with winners.
