I have done all of the 2011 game-by-game schedules with the exception of the Vikings and the Bears.
The Minnesota Vikings against the NFC North:
As the reader is going to find out sooner or later I think the Bears are going to be a tough team in 2011. The way they are facing the negotiation problems that are currently happening makes me think they are truly determined to make things happen in 2011. As a result of that I say even though the Vikings will split with Green Bay and Detroit, Minnesota will be swept by the Chicago Bears. That will give them an NFC North record of 2-4.
The Minnesota Vikings against nondivisional teams on the road:
Minnesota travels to play the Falcons, Chargers, Chiefs, Redskins and Panthers. While the schedule is reasonably light I think the Vikings will stumble on the road because they will be adjusting from the shock of 2010, losing Favre plus their long-standing head coach. Further, I think the one win they will get will be against the Chiefs. They will lose to Atlanta, Carolina, the Redskins and Chargers but will beat Kansas City. So they go 1-4 on the road.
The Minnesota Vikings against nondivisional teams at home:
Minnesota hosts the Saints, Buccaneers, Cardinals, Broncos and Raiders and I think they will do better at home beating Tampa Bay, Denver and Oakland, while dropping games to New Orleans and Arizona. They go 3-2 at home.
The Minnesota Vikings are going to go 6-10 in 2011 and finish in the NFC North cellar. They will be in a division with three red-hot teams.
