2011 Golden Globe Awards: The Highlights and the Complete List of Winners
It's a "Glee" Ful Night at the Golden Globes; 'The Social Network' Wins Big
In addition to Gervais' antics (besides bringing a glass of wine up to his podium, he said he had to help the president of the Hollywood Foreign Press off of the toilet and to "pop his teeth in"), awards presenter Robert Downey Jr. deadpanned, " I don't know if an actress can do her best work...until I've slept with her."
Actress Claire Danes won her first Golden Globe since she was a teen on "My So Called Life"- and the real life Temple Grandin was by her side at the party table.
And later in the show, actor Robert DeNiro was presented with the Cecil B. DeMille Award for his achievements in the entertainment field. DeNiro's acclaimed film credits include movies such as "The Godfather Part II," "Raging Bull," "Taxi Driver," "Midnight Run" and "The Deer Hunter."
