2011 Golf Equipment Reviews

MikeBabjak
It's that time of the year, and if you live in a colder area of the country like I do, you can't wait for golf season to get here!

If manufacturers have not come out with their new products for the 2011 golf season they soon will be. From golf clubs to golf balls, from golf shafts to golf grips, companies around the world are touting their "Next Big Thing" to help you play better golf. The list goes on and on!

As in the past I have already been able to take a look at and hit most of the new products coming out for the new season. I've wrote rough drafts of my thoughts on the equipment and will be sharing my experience with you over the next few months. I will also be expanding to shafts and grips as well being that these are very important pieces of the equation.

I'll start over the next couple of weeks with Titleist, Taylor Made, Cobra, Ping, Callaway and Adams Golf. I will then begin to fill in with some new grip and shaft technology on the horizon and how it may help with your game.

As always, these reviews will be straight to the point based on my own opinion. I will give you a basic overview of the equipment tested, what my thoughts were on it's performance and looks, and who I would recommend this product to. I'm not in the business of trying to sell you equipment, just to help you make a more informed decision for your next purchase.

What is most important to me is that these articles are fact based and written with input of my 15+ years playing and 10+ years of working in the golf industry. I do my best to weed out the hype of marketing and give you a solid footing to purse your next set of clubs, balls, grips, or shafts.

I will also throw a few articles related to new fitting techniques. As time goes on, most golfers now are taking advantage of all of the options out there for custom fit sets of clubs. This will not only help you score better in the long run, but will also keep that set of clubs you just bought in your bag for many more years to come.

Stay tuned as I look to start with new equipment next week!
