Hess Corporation has announced the release of this year's miniature toy truck.

For the past 46 years, Hess gas stations have been selling toy trucks. Adding to the tradition, Hess began releasing miniature trucks each year since 1998. Each has been a miniature version of a full-size toy truck from the past. This year's toy is a limited edition replica of the 2001 Hess Helicopter Transport, which is due out on Friday, May 27. Below are the features of this year's Hess toy.

- two motorized spinning rotors that can be activated two different ways

- internal and external lights

- quick-release display base

The 2011 Hess Miniature Helicopter Transport goes on sale on Friday, May 27 at participating Hess and Hess Express retail stores for $6.99 plus tax. As always, each toy includes Energizer batteries and supplies are limited.

Buy your 2011 Hess Miniature Helicopter Transport as soon as possible to ensure availability. While the full-size toys sell out within a few weeks, the miniatures are not quite as popular, so they are usually on store shelves for a few months. But, don't run the risk of them becoming sold out and buy yours ASAP!
