Denver 2011 Memorial Day Parade - Be sure to wear your red, white and blue for this parade. The parade honors veterans who have given their lives in service to our country. Protests are not allowed out of respect for those brave individuals. Look for drill teams and military units to join the parade. It begins at Civic Center Park 10:00 am Saturday, May 28. A tribute follows at the Veterans Monument.
Boulder Creek Festival- Kick off the beginning of summer by attending this traditional Memorial Day weekend celebration. The highlight is the rubber ducky race. Participants cast rubber duckies into Boulder Creek in a race for the finish line. The Boulder Creek Festival is a weekend long event of food and fun.
