2011 Oscar Nominations

On February 27 the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences will present the eighty-third annual Academy or Oscar Awards from the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles. The awards presentation will be broadcast live on television beginning at 8pm EST/5pmPST. Along with the live broadcast in the United States, the Academy Awards will be shown to some 200 countries around the world.

Winners for the Academy Awards are chosen by active members of the Motion Picture Academy; however, members can only vote for the best animated short film, live action short film, documentary - feature and short subject -, and the foreign language film only if they have seen all of the films in that particular category.
