2011 Philadelphia Film Festival Celebrates 20th Anniversary This Fall

This year marks the 20 th anniversary of the annual Philadelphia Film Festival. The event will run October 20 th -November 3 rd 2011, and will feature fifteen days of over 120 new films on eight screens throughout the city. Tickets go on-sale October 3 rd , and are available now for Philadelphia Film Society members.

Screenings will take place at the Ritz East, the Bryn Mawr Film Institute, the Prince Music Theater, the Annenberg Center for Performing Arts, the Rave University Six, the International House and the Ritz Five.

The festival will feature some of the following films: "Like Crazy" (Drake Doremus), "The Descendants" (Alexander Payne), "Anonymous" (Roland Emmerich), "My Week with Marilyn" (Simon Curtis), "Shame" (Steve McQueen), "Jeff, Who Lives at Home" (Jay & Mark Duplass), "Butter" (Jim Field Smith), "The Artist (Michel Hazanavicius) and more.
