2011 Razzie Awards: Worst in Hollywood Sweeps 'The Last Airbender' and 'Sex and the City 2' (Complete List of Winners)

What a difference a decade or more can do to one's brilliant career. M. Night Shyamalan was up for numerous Oscars for "The Sixth Sense" at the 2000 Academy Awards. Now fast forward 11 years later to the 31^st Annual Razzie Awards in 2011 dis-honoring the very worst achievements in Hollywood. He may not have won any Oscars for his masterpiece film back in 2000, but Shyamalan more than made up for it by winning a number of significant categories, including Worst Picture for his sci-fi fantasy flick, "The Last Airbender."

"The Last Airbender's" Other Dubious Wins

If insult to injury weren't enough at the Razzies M. Night Shyamalan also won Worst Director for, you guessed it, "The Last Airbender." The film also won Worst Screenplay by none other than Shyamalan as the screenwriter. Worst Supporting Actor went to Jackson Rathbone and a new category made its debut this year, Worst Eye-Gouging Mis-Use of 3-D. The director and screenwriter walked away with two Golden Raspberry Awards and the movie "The Last Airbender" won a total of five, the most of any film Saturday night (February 26).

"Sex and the City" Also Led the Pack with 3 Razzies

All four gal pals and stars of this horrific sequel: Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristen Davis and Cynthia Nixon each won Worst Actress. If that weren't enough "Sex and the City's" entire cast won Worst Screen Couple/Worst Ensemble. Last but certainly least was the film's win in the category of Worst Prequel, Remake, Rip-Off or Sequel. Once upon a time this was an outstanding HBO cable TV series made into a highly successful film, only to have the sequel tarnish this franchise forever in our memory.

The Other Winners and No Shows

Oh yes, there were a couple of other winners from different films such as Worst Actor went to Ashton Kutcher for "Killers" and "Valentine's Day." He may have wished he was "Punk'd" on this one. Sorry Ashton, it's not a prank. Worst Supporting Actress went to Jessica Alba, not exactly a surprise for her in this category. Alba won it for a number of films appearances: "The Killer Inside", "Little Fockers", "Machete" and "Valentine's Day." Unlike last year when Sandra Bullock made a surprise appearance for accepting her Worst Actress Award no one showed up for their awards this time around. Showing up never hurt Halle Berry and Sandra Bullock afterwards, career-wise that is.
