The four teams of the National Football Conference South are New Orleans, Tampa Bay, Atlanta and Carolina. I've put together their 2011 schedules which you can watch by left-clicking the hyperlink so you can see my video presentation. The idea of doing New Orleans schedule inspired me to get dressed up and wear my tux though my neck button wouldn't close so I just look reasonably well dressed. Here's the teams with a short blurb and the video hyperlink at the end of the blurb with their schedule.

Carolina Panthers

The Carolina Panthers were the worst team in the NFL last year though being worst gave them first pick: their first choice was Cam Newton. Who knows how long he'll take to impact the Panthers though his skills are astounding. Too bad we have to watch and hear the experts walk us through his learning curve. The Panthers will no doubt score more points than last year. The Panthers have the NFL's toughest schedule in 2011: their opponents had a record of 142-114 last year. Carolina will travel 11,246 miles this year to road games. The Panthers have new coach Ron Rivera in charge. Here's their 2011 schedule.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers won ten games last year and this year they'll get the NFL's 17th toughest schedule: 2011's schedule features teams that had a 127-129 record last year. Their travel schedule which amounts to 22,974 miles includes a trip to London, England to play the Chicago Bears. Here's their 2011 schedule.

Atlanta Falcons

The Atlanta Falcons were the number one seed in the NFC playoffs last year so they have talent there. They drew the league's 20th toughest schedule: their 2011 schedule includes teams that had a 126-130 record last year. Their travel mileage to road games will be 11,118 miles. Here their 2011 schedule.

New Orleans Saints

The New Orleans Saints are just two years removed from their Super Bowl championship. The Saints still have Drew Brees who is a passing phenomenon...injuries last year slowed down their offense though they still have a lot of potentially great offensive players. I haven't heard about the trade which sent Reggie Bush elsewhere so they still have him stretching out the field. The Saints have the NFL's 14th toughest schedule: their 2011 opponents had a 130-126 record last year. The Saints will log travel mileage to and from road games of 10,380 miles. Here's their 2011 schedule.
