2011 Sports Camps in the Alton, Illinois Area

Many parents like to give their child an opportunity to improve their game skills during the summer. This article provides several various sport camps that children can attend in the Alton, Illinois area.

Soccer
Challenger Sports British Soccer Camps. This camp is offered at Gordon Moore Park in Alton. It is for 10-18 and it is co-ed. The cost is $148. The camp has two sessions during the day. It runs from 9 am to noon and 1 to 4 pm. It is a full day of camp and runs from June 18 through the 22. You can get more information by calling 618-463-3580.

All Sports-SIUE Campus
Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville offers a variety of summer sport camps. They offer camps in basketball, soccer, volleyball and wrestling. Prices vary for each type of camp. Some camps are day and some are over night camps. Their camp phone number is 618-650-2871.

All Sports-Alton Marquette High School
Marquette High School offers a wide selection of sport summer camps. They offer camps in basketball, soccer, volleyball, football and golf. Their web site offers detailed information for each camp, including cost. Their main phone number is 618-463-0580.

Lewis and Clark College
This college located in Godfrey Illinois offers several sport camps. Their camps are unique, because they offer camps off campus and on campus. Fees depend on each sport camp. Their fees run between $40 and $70. You can contact them at 618-468-6000.

Besides these four, there are other schools that offer camps throughout the Alton area. I have worked at some of these in the past and I recommend any of them.
