A great SUV that I've been following for several years now is the Mitsubishi Outlander, it is considered a small SUV but from its solid, yet sharp and rugged design it feels like a big ride. The back seats fold forward for when you need additional cargo room. The manufacturers' retail price has not been released yet but it can be expected to start at least as much as the current year model around $19,000. It is a great price for a starter SUV and it boasts lots of extras like reclining back seats.
Another great SUV that is hitting the market in 2011 is Suzuki's Grand Vitara. It retails at just over $19,000 and it is a great SUV with plenty of room. It seats for people and it averages 19/25 miles per gallon. It has a keyless entry and the audio controls are right on your steering wheel for easy access, and an auxiliary input is standard in all models. You can add additional options such as Bluetooth and GPS for an additional charge.
Toyota's high end Land Cruiser is a long standing runner in their line and every year Toyota somehow finds new ways to continuously make the Land Cruiser fresh and bold every year. In their new 2011 model, which retail for just shy of $65,000 we are seeing more attention to the comfort of the driver. There is GPS, rain sensing windshield wipers, a center console cooler and many more options you just will not find on any other SUV. The Land Cruiser is a definite show stopper. It isn't just a strong contender in the market it is the head of its class. The Land cruiser gas mileage is not great but the ride is. It gets 13/18 miles per gallon. The great thing about Toyota right now is that they are currently offer a free maintenance plan with the purchase of one of their vehicles.
2011 is showing some promising and futuristic updates from the various car manufacturing companies and it is a great time to take advantage of all the unique technology that car manufacturing companies are spicing up their cars with.
