2011 Swimsuit Trends from Frederick's, Victoria's Secet, Venus, Ujena
Sparkles and Full-Coverage Options
I often wondered why Frederick's didn't carry swimwear so when I saw the "limited edition" line I was extremely excited to see what Frederick's had to offer. The introduction of the Hollywood Sizzle Pool Party Swim line offers a select amount of suits in the catalog and on the website. The line is just as the name would describe; sizzling. It's ultra sexy and full of sparkle. The styles so far are halters, triangles, one pieces and a convertible bikini top that can be worn six different ways. As of yet; each design has something that makes it unique such as sequins, faux zippers, faux jewels and rhinestones.
Victoria's Secret has launched its 2011 line of swimsuits in an abundance of styles, colors and mix-n-match pieces. Once again, this year's trend has a lot of shine. There are embellished additions to the inventory that have sequins, beads, and shells, as well as, o-ring hard-wear and cutouts. There is also an assortment of sexy one piece suits that are not overly revealing. There are also quite a few one piece suits that offer full coverage styles with retro cut bottoms and "firm-control" to give your waistline a slimmer appearance.
Although Venus is introducing its 2011 line the styles have remained the same with few variations to the swimsuits. There are some new color combinations and a nice selection of sports top suits for those who would prefer to have a fuller coverage two piece.
I was surprised to see the new selections with Ujena this year. Ujena is known for its sexy but wearable swimsuits so I was pleasantly surprised with the newly added selection. The line includes more full coverage and body slimming options in the one piece suits , as well as, the tankini's and sporty swimsuits. This is compelling for buyers who enjoy the look of Ujena's swimsuits but are afraid to try one of its smaller bikini choices.
Cost
The average cost of the swimsuits are approximately $100 with the most pricey offered through Victoria's Secret. These higher priced suits which are just under $200 aren't the Victoria's Secret brand and are in the one piece suit category.
