We had a reasonable Week 8 in the 2011 NFL "Point Spread Picks," with a 7-6 showing. If it was unreasonable to assume the New Orleans Saints, Baltimore Ravens and New York Giants could handle the Rams, Cardinals and Dolphins, we apologize.
The Tim Tebow train derailed slightly, in that he is not a very good quarterback. Tebow is now the object of some serious criticism, though we should remember he never promised to be any more than who he is. If you need to vent, go after the analysts and fans who, before Sunday, had him in the Hall of Fame.
