Thomas stated that rhinestone and crystal are the favored belt styles. But satin belts are also another option for those who don't want to go the jeweled route.

Some designers offered wedding dress belts in a detachable format to give brides more options. Be sure when you buy your dress to note if the belt is sewn to the dress or detachable, this could make all the difference to you later on.

Handbags

The side bow trend that has graced 2011 wedding gowns on the catwalks has turned up on the clutch bags as well. Judith Bieber offers some excellent bow clutch bag options in her new collection (see here) and each is lined with blue satin.
