2011 New Year's Eve Events and Parties

For better or worst 2010 is coming to an end, and what's exciting is that this year, New Year's Eve is on a Friday night. If 2010 was stressful for you, take this three day weekend and use it to your advantage to bring in the New Year with as many activities as you want. Don't let location stop you, below is a list of events you can find from Los Angeles, to the East Coast to bring in 2011.

The Standard

Details: In this hotel you choose the level of fun, The Rooftop to The Lobby. The Rooftop features entertainment from DJ's Tanner Ross, Sergio Santos, and Droog, includes free champagne toast at midnight.
Showtime: 9pm, early arrival recommended.
The Lobby, will feature Dominic Carter (Johnny Cash tribute band).
Showtime: 7pm to 1:30 am.
Cost: Free with RSVP.

CityWalk will have two stages featuring live bands, giant video screens, and three firework locations. Featured guest include, Gretchen Bonaduce's Ankesenamen
Details: Outdoors, with live music, DJ, and fireworks.
Showtime: 9:00PM -12:30AM
Cost: Free admission, (Parking $15-$40) or use Metro: Red Line to Universal City station.
CityWalk has many clubs and restaurants also hosting events including Rumba Room, Jillians, Jon Lovitz Comedy Club, and the Samba Brazilian Steakhouse & Lounge for an additional charge.

New Year's Eve in Downtown Long Beach
Pine Ave from 1st to 3rd, Linden and 1st St

Details: Themed as a family friendly celebration, downtown Long Beach will host a party that includes DJ's, lives bands, face painting, and more.
The NYE celebration will take place in two locations, Waterfront, at the Nautical Shell, 6PM-9PM
And Pine Ave, at Broadway 9PM- 2AM
Featured guest includes DJ Abel, The Saps, and Super Diamond's Surreal Neil. There will be fireworks at midnight, off the Queen Mary from the waterfront.
Showtime: 6pm -2am

Details: This NYE event includes skating rental, dinner package, and two chances to watch the ball drop, 9pm and midnight.
Showtime: 6pm to 1am.
Cost: $25
