It's hard to believe that 2012 is already here and fans are talking about Spring baseball training. Winter is still in full swing, however, players and teams are getting ready for their season. Below find information on how and where to get tickets, as well as the do's and don'ts of ticket buying for the Cactus League which includes the Arizona Diamondbacks, the Chicago Cubs, Chicago Whitesox, Cincinatti Reds, Cleveland Indians, Colorado Rockies, Kansas City Royals, Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, Los Angeles Dodgers, Milwaukee Brewers, Oakland Athletics, San Diego Padres, San Francisco Giants, Seattle Mariners and the Texas Rangers.
First things first, you can download a 2012 Spring Training Schedule from the official Cactus League Website. This way you have all the information on which times and days you want to attend. If you do not have internet access, or prefer a different method, you can also contact the ballparks where the trainings are going to take place.
The best way to get tickets, after you have checked the website and the schedule, is directly through that ballpark information page. You can not only view the phone numbers, but you can see which teams are playing, where the stadium is located with address, what days and the times.
You can also click on the actual team name you want, at the top of the home page of the Cactus League Website, and you can check all the training league games for that particular team.
Another way to get Cactus League Training Camp tickets is through the Major League Baseball website. This website will show an actual map you can click on to see which teams are where. The MLB site also lets you plan a baseball trip from park to park.
Always beware of sites that claim they have discounted or really cheap tickets. You want to make sure it is a trusted and secure website before giving out any information like your credit card and address. Stick to well known websites such as StubHub or TicketLuck . The best advice, however, is to go directly to the source, the team or ball park or home website, and find the tickets there. The price will most likely not be that much more, but your peace of mind will be priceless!
