2012 Chevrolet Cruze LTZ (Review)

Chevy has done it again.

The new Chevrolet Cruze is a fuel-efficient, stylish, power packed sedan and is everything a compact car should be. In fact, it is one of the best vehicles GM has ever introduced.

I was given the opportunity to drive this fabulous car and was very impressed with its sleek exterior, advanced technology, plush interior, comfort, easy handling, and excellent performance on the road.

The exterior of the Chevy Cruze has the look of a more expensive vehicle, with its sharp angles, chamfered hood, sleek grille, and tight curves. The headlights and rear taillights have been strategically placed and are specially designed, which add uniqueness and appeal to the car. It has been said that it is important to make a good first impression and when you drive this car, you will do just that. The Cruze is definitely an eye catcher. It is important to know that the impressive angles, curves, and lines do more than just turn heads and delight the eyes, they actually improve the aerodynamics of the vehicle, optimizing its fuel efficiency. When you are inside a Chevy Cruze, you're enveloped in comforts that are uncommon in other compact cars.

The interior of the Chevy Cruze LTZ is incredibly comfortable and the plush, leather seats are ergonomic and supportive. It has a great stereo system, the air conditioning/heating functions are easy to access, adjust, and the navigation system is accurate and dependable. Having a navigation system in any car is a real blessing, because it helps the driver to get to a particular destination faster and eliminates the need to stop and look at a traditional map or ask people along the way for directions. The Chevy Cruze state of the art navigation system is efficient and helps you get where you need to go quickly and easily.

While driving the Cruze, you can enjoy serenity and quiet, because it has been specially designed to keep extraneous noise outside with a triple-sealed acoustic-laminated glass windshield. The rear seats are comfortable as well, with ample leg room for both short and tall passengers. The cargo area is quite spacious with room to fit large bags of groceries or big boxes. In fact, the Cruze has 60/40 folding rear seats that allow even more space for bigger items.

The Chevy Cruze provides a smooth, comfortable ride, and since it has a turbocharged engine, it accelerates quickly, takes off fast, and handles the highways and curvy roads with ease. The vehicle gets an estimated 42 mpg highway, which helps to save a lot of money at the gas pump. To achieve this amount of fuel efficiency, the Cruze has a strong, high performance 1.4L turbocharged engine with 138 horsepower, which enables the vehicle to accelerate with confidence. With a Z-link rear suspension on the LTZ, Eco, LT automatic models and electric power steering, the Cruze can easily handle tight corners and sharp turns.

There is nothing that I do not like about the Cruze. The look, feel, and performance is simply superb and for an MSRP starting at just $16,720, you will be getting a great car for your money.

The Cruze is a combination of style, economy, efficiency, and state of the art features that set it apart from other compact sedans on the market today, offering what the consumer needs, from safety features to modern styling and more miles per gallon; the Cruze provides the best highway mileage of any gas vehicle in America.
