2012 - Doomsday, the Apocalypse and the End of the World

Nostradamus, the Book of Revelations, and the Egyptian Book Of the Dead all foretell of a coming end and Nostradamus' predictions even mentioned that date 2012. What is it about the end of the world that terrifies and yet entraps us so? Maybe because there is little we, as individuals, can do to prevent or to stop it.

There is a scientific link between what is going on in space and what is going on with the current natural disasters of the earth. Many believe that we are now seeing the effects of the coming 2012 prophecy. The ancient Mayans lived in the city of Tikal inside of Guatemala over 1,500 years ago and was home to more than 16,000 people. A Mayan monument that was inscribed with glyphs that gave mention to 2012 was found.

The Mayan calendar focused more on future predictions than day to day acknowledgment. The last cycle of the Mayan calender, the 13'th is coming on Dec 21, 2012. This marks the end of the Mayan calendar.
The end of the world or the beginning of a new world? The polarity of the earth of to be upset which causes climate changes that will cause catastrophic events like tsunamis, volcanoes will erupt simultaneously, hurricanes and other natural disasters. A specific alignment of the winter sun, the earth and the milky way will cause a shift. The Mayans tell that history comes in cycles. The earth's rotational axis will shift.

This theory is supported by a shift in the alignments in our solar system. The December solstice sun and interstellar dust meet in the center of the Milky Way. Earth is predicted to shift and fall on its side. The Mayan calendar has predicted solstices and the movements of planets over time. But the real question to some is how the Mayans got the knowledge to configure their calendar to such a specific degree. In 2012 the sun will increase its solar storms or a massive solar flare activity. This will cause a massive power failure that is said to last for years which means that any type of electronic device will be useless and money will be lost because of restricted access to bank accounts.

A labyrinth or Hall Of Records which contains secrets that tell how to survive the 2012 doomsday is rumored to be hidden inside the southern side of a pyramid in Hawara Egypt who was mentioned by Herodotus wrote about its grandeur with its inscription of information. Knowledge that was to be passed down through the ages was preserved inside of this labyrinth. This place is also known by many as the 8'th wonder of the world. The knowledge is rumored to be inherited from the lost Atlantis civilization which was also supposed to be wiped out by a great disaster by an earthquake around 900 BC. The Atlanteans were able to foresee their coming end and were rumored to send the secrets and information that they believed to be of greatest importance to other cultures such as Egypt and Africa.

So now that we have this information on the upcoming Doomsday, we must choose to make 2012 a year of change for the better if there must be a change at all.
