With the 69th Annual Golden Globes right around the corner, fans are getting anxious to find out which of their favorites are going to come out as winners. Although many are obsessed with the movie categories, there are also quite a few who are interested to see who's going to come out ahead in the TV categories. Fans are taking guesses about which of their favorite shows, actors and actresses are going to win. Do you agree with the predictions below?
Best Television Series - drama
The nominees are "Boardwalk Empire," "Homeland," "Game of Thrones," "American Horror Story," and "Boss." I know there's people who aren't too fond of the show, but "American Horror Story" could be the dark, crazy mess to come out on top over the favorite "Homeland."
Best Actress in a TV drama
Julianna Margulies, Claire Danes, Mireille Enos, Callie Thorne and Madeline Stowe are the nominees. There's a very good chance Danes is going to take the category.
Best Actor in a TV drama
There are some heavyweight names in the category. The nominees are Bryan Cranston, Kelsey Grammer, Jeremy Irons, Steve Buscemi, and Damian Lewis. Although all are serious contenders and any of them could walk away with the award, Cranston is likely to get it.
Best Television Series - comedy or musical
" Glee," "New Girl," "Modern Family," "Enlightened," and "Episodes" are the nominees, and I would not want to have to choose between the options. However, "New Girl" will likely take the award. It was definitely one of the more pleasant surprises of the year.
Best Actress in a TV comedy or musical
Tina Fey, Zooey Deschanel, Laura Linney, Laura Dern and Amy Poehler are the nominees, and frankly, I adore them all. I would be seriously surprised if Miss Adorkable Zooey didn't win for "New Girl."
Best Actor in a TV comedy or musical
David Duchovny, Thomas Jane, Matt Leblanc, Johnny Galecki, and Alec Baldwin are the nominees in this category. This year I see it as a contest between Baldwin and Galecki with Leblanc as a very strong possibility. Chances are Baldwin will get it this year.
