2012 Movie: Best Film of the Year 2009 Starring John Cusack, Danny Glover and Woody Harrelson!

Phillip W. Chambley
"The best computer technology of any film in history!" This incredible November 2009 released film has the most spectacular visual effects and modern day digital technology of any disaster film in the history of Hollywood film making so far! If you enjoyed disaster films like Independence Day, the Poseidon Adventure, Deep Impact, Volcano (1997), The Day after Tomorrow, War of the World's (1949 version) Dante's Peak and Airport 77", etc..

Then you will truly enjoy this great 2009 film adventure simply called "2012". Even the great film critic Roger Ebert gave this highly acclaimed movie a B+? Which is very unusual for him to give any science fiction film this top rating. Although, at this time and history? This most likely historical film seems to have mixed reviews because the plot is "cheesy and typical?"

However? On the big screen theater of 2009! These FX or visual effects look pretty convincing as opposed to a lot of the older film versions of "Disaster Films". Which makes this film worth paying the $10-12 dollar theater ticket in local theaters. This "science fiction" film last for 2 hours and 38 minutes, but prepared for a theater and future 2010 DVD journey that will keep you on the edge of your seat since the movie Independence Day!

After theater viewing the boring 2009 film called "The men who stare at goats" the week before in November. I guess any exciting film would be a treat for all movie theater go-ers! This film makes a great date movie for anyone of all ages to see. Especially, persons that are into video games and or website graphic designs. "Just out of curiosity?"

Ironically? This truly remarkable film even has a well diverted loving all-star cast such as: John Cusack (Jackson Curtis), Danny Glover (American President), Woody Harrelson (Charlie), Amanda Peet (Kate Curtis), Chiwetel Ejiofor (Adrian Helmsley), Oliver Platt (Carl Anheuser) and Thandie Newton (Laura Wilson), any many more actors which you have seen in films over the Hollywood years.

This film is directed and co-written by the famous Roland Emmerich, who presented you with these historic life-time and loving films called "Independence Day and the Day after Tomorrow!" Hopefully, he will make many more in the future because theater prices go up every year! "At least we will know what to expect before viewing these films in a high priced local theater?"

"Unlike most disaster Hollywood films?" Regarding the problem? this can only happen in one particular region area here on earth? This film or movie depicts what can actually happen all over the earth. Showing complete destruction all around the world on this same day of December 21, 2012! as presented by the lost Mayan civilization calender, which STOPPED on this particular date and time in history for some strange reason?

Which also unfortunately? Predicts the end of the earth? "Don't be alarmed though?" The majority of legitimate worldwide scientist and even NASA experts thoroughly agree? This will be just be another "beautiful" time and date in astronomy history. Especially, the memory of the viewing of Halley's comet, which all human beings have seen twice in the past 100 years.

Charlie (Woody Harrleson) fanatic and astronomer tells writer Jackson Curtis that the planets and the alignment of the "Milky Way" will come together on this particular date, causing a mass destruction all over the earth because of the sun's solar flares. Thus in return causing the earth to melt within, similar to a microwave oven. Which seems to happen "all at once during this film" in a matter of two days or more.
