20th Century Fox Comedy Film 'Call Me Artie' Casting Children and Adults

Chernin Entertainment and Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation will begin shooting the family comedy feature film "Call Me Artie" on October 10th, 2011 in the Atlanta, GA area. The casting directors are casting supporting roles and smaller speaking roles in Atlanta, and the extras casting director is holding an open casting call for kids and adults to work on the film. These are fully paid positions.

The film stars three-time Golden Globe nominated actor Billy Crystal, Academy Award winning actress Marisa Tomei, two-time Academy Award nominated actress Bette Midler, 2011 Young Artist Award winning 11-year-old actress Bailee Madison, and experienced television commercial/voice over child actor Joshua Rush. Rush's credits also include stints on NBC's "Heroes" and "Chuck".

Andy Fickman is directing "Call Me Artie" from a script originally written by Lisa Addario and Joe Syracuse. Lowell Ganz and Babaloo Mandel re-wrote the final script. Billy Crystal came up with the story behind the film. Samantha Sprecher and Billy Crystal will produce for his company Face Productions, Peter Chernin will produce for Chernin Entertainment.
