1. No matter how much you want to change someone you can not.
2. Trust is earned, not given, and it only takes seconds to destroy the massive walls you construct in various relationships.
3. A smile is worth a thousand feelings of joy, much more than any monetary gift.
4. To bear a grudge is a waste of time and energy.
5. Forgiveness is the hardest thing to do.
6. Family IS important.
7. Beauty and awe inspire nature.
8. What does not kill you does make you stronger.
9. There really is no short cut to any place worth going.
10. Hard work pays off in the long run.
11. Not to believe everything you hear.
12. Going to the doctors is a necessary evil.
13. Trust is given but respect is earned.
14. Cooking is easy; cooking well is a honed skill.
15. Brutal truth comes with revelation.
16. Some things are harder to learn than others, but that makes you that much more confident in yourself than learning the easy things.
17. Hardships are indefinitely inevitable.
18. Meeting new people is in effect the hardest and the easiest thing ever.
19. Life finds you when you are downtrodden and picks you back up to leave you down the trail you had all but forgotten.
20. It's the little curiosities of life we forget to remember to smile about.
21. Acquaintances occur everyday some turn into good friends, but the true friend is like a rare gem.
22. Sometimes life is about How you will be remembered when you are gone.
23. Even though surprises happen in life, whether good or bad it all tends to work out.
24. Miracles do happen everyday.
