25th Annual JazzReggae Festival

What are your plans for Memorial Day weekend? If you are a fan of music and art, a great place to be is at the 25^th Annual JazzReggae Festival at UCLA. The JazzReggae Festival is a two day event held over Memorial Day Weekend, May 29-30, 2011.

The festival is held at Intramural Field, on the UCLA campus . In addition to great musical acts, the festival includes artists, a gallery, along with a variety of food and craft vendors.

"This year's festival will feature live painting on a 360 degree canvas featuring artists such as renowned graffiti writer Man One and Brainfeeder's Teebs. There will also be an outdoor art gallery for attendees to view and purchase art provided by LA gallery HVW8 as well as other local LA talent. The VIP and deluxe areas on the grounds will be curated with art created by Think Tank Collective".

This year's musical lineup includes Lupe Fiasco , Pharoahe Monch , Talib Kweli , and more on Jam Day, Sunday. On Reggae Day, Monday, the acts include Tanya Stephens , The Wailing Souls , and more. Discount pre-sale tickets are available now for $29 or $50, for both days. Day of tickets are available for $35 or $60, for both days.
