3 Bread Recipes for Bread Machines

A bread machine can be your best friend in the kitchen. Warm, homemade bread is a fantastic addition to any meal, and makes a nice snack, too. If you own a bread machine, any bread recipe is a cinch to bake.

The following recipes are written for use in a bread machine, and come from my personal collection. You could call them family favorites, but we just call them delicious.

Cheese Herb Bread

1 1/8 cups Water
1 1/2 tablespoons Vegetable Oil
3 tablespoons Fruit Juice Concentrate (or butter)
1/2 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
1/2 teaspoon Salt
3/4 teaspoon Baking soda
1 tablespoon Sugar
3 tablespoons Grated Parmesan Cheese
1/2 teaspoon Basil
3/4 teaspoon Parsley flakes
4 1/2 tablespoons Gluten (optional)
3 1/3 cups Whole Wheat Flour
1 1/2 teaspoons Yeast

Add ingredients in order. Set on medium color and 1.5 lb. loaf.

Cottage Dill Bread

1/2 cup Water
2 cups White Bread flour
1 tablespoon Dry milk
1 tablespoon Sugar
1 teaspoon Salt
1 tablespoon Butter
1/4 cup Cottage Cheese
1/2 tablespoon Dry Onion
1/2 tablespoon Dill Seed
1/2 tablespoon Dill Weed
2 teaspoons Yeast (active dry)

Add ingredients in order listed. Use regular settings.

Dill Onion Bread

1 1/2 C Sour Cream
1 Egg
1 Tsp Salt
1/3 Tsp Baking Soda
3 Tbsp Sugar
3 Tbsp Dried Onion Flakes
1 1/3 Tbsp Dill Weed
3 C Bread Flour
1 1/2 tsp Active Dry Yeast

Add ingredients in order. Set on medium color and 1.5 loaf (or regular settings).
