This Mexican holiday has captured our imagination by storm. There is so much fun and creativity, which flows from the holiday. Children especially enjoy creating crafts for various holidays. Is there any crafts that are budget friendly and are easy to create? The answer is of course, and this article is here to help.

PARTY GLASSES. Plastic glasses are cheap and affordable. Such glasses can be picked up at a local Dollar tree for a dollar. Most children enjoy having their own glass. Why not give them their own? Glass paint is available for a few dollars in any hobby store. What is so great about glass paint? This paint comes in a variety of colors.

The children can decorate the glasses with their own style of creativity. These decorative glasses are very inexpensive crafts. The design of the party glasses is all up to the children. Before these crafts can be used, the paint needs to dry for a good twenty four hours.

MEXICAN FLAG. The flag of Mexico can be found on the Internet or in the local library. The photo of the flag can be used for many crafts. A large banner is a great craft to design. The materials are very inexpensive. For this project you simply need a large sheet of paper and color utensils of your choice. It is an easy project but time consuming. (Instructions are in the resource section). Pinatas are of different shapes, animals, and characters.

RATTLES. These are like baby rattles, and easy to make. A two liter bottle is the perfect size for this craft. Rice or dry beans is the source of the sound. Rocks are good substitutes. The bottles can be decorated in any fashion as the child wishes. The cap needs to be glued to the rim of the bottle, to keep the sound source inside.

MINI SOMBREROS. The project is simple and very affordable. A paper cup and paper plate, paint, glue and beads are the materials needed to create your mini sombreros. The hat color should be a simple color of yellow. The child can decorate their mini sombreros with different colors and beads. This hat isn't meant to be worn.
