3 Cheap Ways to Buy Cell Phones

Chris Jones
Did you recently drop your cell phone in the toilet? Did it get caught in the rain, and now all your cell phone can do is beep and quietly lay there? Was your pet looking for a chew toy and instead found your cell phone? Regardless of what happened, you need a new cell phone, and you need it fast! You cannot afford to buy a new cell phone, so what can you do?

1. Buy a Go-Phone (prepaid cell phone)

At almost all stores that sell electronics ranging from Best Buy and Circuit City to Wal-Mart and Target, you can buy a one of the pre-paid phones. They are extremely cheap and usually sell for under $10. All you need to do is put your own sim card in the phone and continue on with your day.

2. Buy a used Cell Phone off eBay

If you think the go-phone method is a bit too cheap for you and you want a slightly better cell phone than what the prepaid cell phones have, then consider buying a used cell phone on ebay. Just make sure you read the descriptions carefully and check the seller's history and ratings. You can buy a great cell phone, such as a Motorola Razr v3, for about 30-40 dollars. Or you can buy a used cell phone of lesser style and quality for under $10.

If you decide on the first two methods, then you should consider selling your broken cell phone on ebay. Despite being broken, you can still get a great deal on it because cell phone parts are valuable and still usable. Just because they do not work for you does not mean someone cannot fix it and turn it into a fully functional cell phone. If not, continue onto part 3.

3. Buy Parts and Fix Your Cell Phone!

Another solution to your lack of a cell phone can be to buy parts and fix your phone. There are a number of ways to repair your broken cell phone, such as buying additional parts off ebay or purchasing another broken cell phone and swapping the parts with your cell phone. This requires a bit more time, but it is certainly the cheapest way to get your old cell phone back to how it was. And the best part is, you can still sell the used cell phone parts on ebay to compensate for your spending.

No matter how you decide to replace your broken cell phone, just remember, there are always ways to minimize the cost. Do further research on the topic if needed. Any further questions, please contact me via Associated Content.
