3 Easy Steps to Dramatically Increase Page Views on Your Associated Content Articles

Mitch Biggs
I am going to give you the keys to the kingdom if your goal is to increase page views with Associated Content articles. There are 3 easy steps to increase page views. Much like driving a car, getting the keys is an important component, but you must have gas and you need skill. Two of any of the three is not a pleasant experience. The same holds true when attempting to increase page views.

The three easy steps to increase page views for Associated Content articles are:
1. Relevant Writing on Hot Topics
2. Proper Keyword Density
3. Effective Article Promotion

Relevant Writing on Hot Topics
You must put yourself out there in the main stream to increase page views. If all the buzz is about Swine Flu and you are writing about how to deliver great best man speeches, then you will only capture a small fraction of content viewers. Fortunately there are many techniques to identify the hot topics. Two of the best sources for identifying trends that will increase page views is Google Trends and TweetStats. Once you have the hot topic you will need to determine how you will break through the clutter of everyone else opining. Otherwise you will be lost in space and struggle to increase page views for your Associated Content articles. You must have a relevant view that captures the attention of your audience and fits with your writing style. Finally you must create momentum with consistent writing. That is the gas. You should have an article base of at least 25 Associated Content articles and commit to write 1 article a day for a week. I recommend Display Only Associated Content articles until you create your base. You must get your content published to increase page views. Once you establish yourself and hone your skill, then embrace the exclusive upfront payment option offered by the Associated Content platform.

Proper Keyword Density
Here is where most beginning writers on the Associated Content platform site struggle. They write wonderful content that is never found. With just a few tweaks they could dramatically increase page views. What are those tweaks? Proper Keyword Density that is search engine friendly. You must have 3% - 5% keyword density to be discovered. Keyword density is how often a particular phrase is contained in an article. For this Associated Content article, my keyword string was increase page views. I also wanted great penetration with Associated Content because I am talking about a specific platform. The challenge is to weave the keywords into the article without feeling too choppy to the reader. Keyword density above 5% will be rejected as spam by the search engines. Keyword density below 3% will not have enough relevancy for the search engine algorithms which is critical to increase page views.

Once you have written your article, you must use tools to determine your keyword density and then make necessary adjustments. There is a great free site that will allow you to paste your content and quickly return the results. Remember, your target to increase page views is 3% to 5% on a specific keyword. Ideally, you want your article to be displayed on the first page of Google. You will dramatically increase page views once you accomplish this objective. Copy my content and check out the keyword density (4.7%) for increase page views with the tool link.

Effective Article Promotion
Effective article promotion is the secret sauce to increase page views with Associated Content. Remember, you must break through the clutter and be found in the vast Internet space to increase page views. Everyone else is writing about hot topics or they would not be hot! The 3 best methods to promote associated content articles are back links, twitter and social network sites. You must be effective at all three to increase page views. You will notice that I linked to several of my own articles in this piece. The more exposure you have the more effective you will be when attempting to increase page views. Additionally, back links carry a higher weight in the Google search engine algorithm. Associated Content commands high authority and you want to back link often.

You will also want to have a twitter account to let the world know you have published an article. I recommend TweetAdder. It is a great automated software program that will target your reading audience and automate your tweets. It is a key component to article promotion and check out how quickly you will increase page views.

You will also want to post your article on sites such as Digg, Stumble Upon, Facebook Group pages and forum comments. Once it becomes viral, you will not only increase page views, but have a sustained increase in readers. Think about who would like to know about your article and post a comment with a link. It takes consistency with this technique to increase page views.

My Results and Example Articles
For the longest time I was languishing around the 10-15 page views per day range. Then I decided to get serious and really increase page views. That is when I implemented all the techniques discussed in this article. I found a few hot trends and topics and wrote 1 article a day for a week to see if that would increase page views. The chart in the image attached to this article is my personal results during my increase page views campaign. I wrote on the Health Care Reform bill, Glenn Beck and President Obama. All three of these articles made Google front page search for the keywords and my increase page views was astounding! Even if you do not like Glenn Beck, write about him, it will increase page views. Go to Google and search health care reform accomplishment and you will see my article in the number one spot! Think of how many people wrote on this topic. I took a different spin and won. Number one spot in Google search will certainly increase page views!

I just used the writing on a hot topic theory and was amazed. I wrote about daylight savings time and got over 1,600 PVs in half a day on that one article alone. Also wanted to let you know I cited your article in my own take on this topic (http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/5784926/associated_content_how_to_increase_pg4.html?cat=35). Thanks for all the help!
