Patrick Jane continues to pull in viewers on CBS, "The Mentalist". He is funny, coy, and almost always right at predicting who is the murder. How does he doe it? Usually, by smart thinking, a cunning whit, and the ability to see things most of us overlook.
We live in a world of crime and murder. What we find on "The Mentalist", is that Patrick Jane comes as a welcome surprise. Maybe we laugh when he laughs. Maybe we just think he's a cutie. Maybe he is today's Sherlock Holmes. Either way, this Patrick Jane is worth watching as you won't be able to miss a show. It's like a kid in the candy store. This is one show that will keep you asking questions and coming back for more.
Every viewer who watches "The Mentalist" can't help but have questions about Jane, his family, and his CBI coworkers. Each month, we go go over a few questions that are lurking in our thoughts. Some answers are easier than others. Some will only come with time. Let's dive into the makeup of "The Mentalist".
Did Patrick's wife know that he was psychic?
This relationship presents questions about his wife, his daughter, and his life. At the end of the day, how could she not know that he had an inability to see through people? If they loved each other as we've come to learn they did, she had to know something. It would take a special woman to fall in love with Patrick Jane. His wife was most definitely a special lady.
Whether his wife really knew that he was psychic bears the questions to whether he can read minds. What we know is that is has the ability to sleuth out details about people. He is very much a modern day Sherlock Holmes.
What is Patrick Jane's car?
He drives a silver Citroen D6 21 or "Goddess". No, this isn't an important piece of information. Yet, this is one question that is simply for the pleasure of every car lover. Every time he pulls up, we all drool a little as his car is truly a sweet ride. His vehicle really adds to the atmosphere and his personality. He is as different and unique as he appears to be. This man is certainly not easy to figure out.
Why does Patrick Jane get away with so much?
We've heard the expression "Getting away with murder". That is certainly what Patrick Jane does every time he goes out on a murder investigation. Instead of doing the murder, he solves it. Usually, in the most of unconventional ways possible. The question we must ask is, "Why?" Why does he get away with so much? The answer, I think, is that this man can solve murders. He's good at what he does. His out-landish ways can be put up with because of the results: solved murders!
The Mentalist airs on CBS at 10 P.M. Eastern Standard Time
