Raw Foods
Skin care begins with what is put into the body. Drink enough water throughout the day to stay hydrated. When thirst is felt, the body is already dehydrated. Start to give the body the nutrients it needs to repair skin cells faster. Drink fresh vegetable and fruit juices daily. This is a great way to quickly consume both enzymes and nutrients. Fresh juice from produce also helps to cleanse the body. Many aging spots, acne, and scars will lighten with the regular consumption of raw fruits and vegetables. Green smoothies and fruit smoothies can be created in a blender to create the same results.
Organic Foods
Purchase the best quality food available within a set food budget. Skipping out on fast food and frequent dinners eaten out can increase the amount of money that can be spent on meals. Organic fruits and vegetables are available at more affordable prices than a few years ago. Take advantage of all local farmers markets and roadside produce stands. Eat less red meat and poultry products from meat suppliers that give their animals growth hormones. Becoming a vegan or vegetarian can help to speed up visible changes in skin tone and texture. There is a growing number of flexitarians that eat a diet based mainly around fruits and vegetables, but choose to consume animal products on a limited basis.
Reverse Aging Skin
Write down the current skin care routine. Using expensive products does not guarantee that the skin will improve or look younger. Create a new skin care routine that does not depend solely on a pricey cream. Exercising the body and doing facial exercises help to maintain a youthful shape. Stretching and practicing these exercises for fifteen minutes a day can take year off the skins appearance. Take time to tighten the skin itself with daily dry skin brushing with a natural bristle brush. Natural cold pressed olive oil, coconut oil, and unrefined Shea butter can help to moisturize the skin overnight. Gently exfoliating the skin in the morning helps to take off one or more layers of dead skin cells. Start to add one commercial product at a time. Write down the visible results. This helps to eliminate using multiple skin care products that are not effective. Take periodic pictures to review the skins improvement.
Start with small steps each day to look younger. Improve aging skin by consuming a high amount of produce through fresh juice and smoothies, eat organic foods, and create an effective skin care routine.
