These 3 simple homemade baby food recipes are easy to make and your baby will enjoy them. My kids always enjoyed the baby foods that I made for them. There are several benefits to making your own baby food.

1. You know every ingredient that goes into the baby food.
2. It will save you money.
3. You can incorporate the foods that your child enjoys the most.

2. Boil the sweet potato chunks in water until tender.
3. Drain the sweet potato.

If the purees come out too thick, you can add a small amount of water, milk, or breast milk to get the baby food to the consistency you want. You can also add other ingredients to these recipes to create your own spruced up baby foods. You know the foods that your baby likes and can adjust these recipes to fit your babies needs and preferences.

Any leftover baby food can be put in the refrigerator and used later. You can also double up on the recipes and freeze the excess to use at a later date. This is a great idea for those busy days that you just don't have time to make the baby food.

Spice Up Your Homemade Baby Food
It is safe to add a bit of spice to your baby's food. You can start by adding things like vanilla, pepper, garlic powder, basil, lemon zest, ginger, cinnamon, oregano, mint, or nutmeg. These can be used in small amounts to help add flavor to the baby food.

I hope your baby enjoys these simple homemade baby food recipes as much as mine did.

When mine were small, I made baby food for them. Whatever the recipe, you must be careful to use very clean utensils and very little seasoning (like salt). Stacy - these are good recipes, thanks for sharing.
