If you have exhausted all measures of trying to lose weight then maybe you are doing it all wrong. If you were to do a search on the internet I am sure that you would find over a thousand different ways to lose weight and yet you are still stuck wearing those pants with the elastic waist band since you can no longer fit into your jeans. Losing weight isn't always easy so why make it any more difficult than it has to be? Here are a few ideas that you may have not tried and you might want to put them to the test since many researchers would agree that they are some of the best ways to lose weight.

Jogging vs. Walking

We all know that exercise is a great way to lose weight but did you know that walking at a fast pace has more benefits that jogging? Walking requires you to use more muscles which in return cause you to burn more calories and gain more muscles than jogging does. Since cortisol increases your metabolism then it can give you a needed boost to help you lose weight and since it also helps to reduce stress this may also help those who suffer from stress caused by dieting or exercise.

Cut out Liquid Calories

We all tend to love sodas and other high calorie drinks but according to the University Medical School of Minnesota you could lose up to thirty pounds in a year just by cutting out high calorie drinks and sugar filled drinks. Instead of filling up on your regular pop for the day or juice you should try water, coffee, or tea but watch your intake on the amount of sugar that you use or the amount that you drink if you opt for the coffee and tea.
