Jogging vs. Walking
We all know that exercise is a great way to lose weight but did you know that walking at a fast pace has more benefits that jogging? According to The View walking is more effective than jogging when done at the same speed for the exact amount of time. Walking requires you to use more muscles which in return cause you to burn more calories and gain more muscles than jogging does. The next time that you have an extra few minutes to spare go ahead and try to walk the pounds off instead of jogging.
Wake up early
Rise and shine sleep head if you want more cortisol to help burn more fat. Cortisol helps to boost your metabolism and even helps you deal with stress which there is more of in the early morning's sunlight than there is later in the day according to Tesh.com. Since cortisol increases your metabolism then it can give you a needed boost to help you lose weight and since it also helps to reduce stress this may also help those who suffer from stress caused by dieting or exercise.
Cut out Liquid Calories
We all tend to love sodas and other high calorie drinks but according to the University Medical School of Minnesota you could lose up to thirty pounds in a year just by cutting out high calorie drinks and sugar filled drinks. Instead of filling up on your regular pop for the day or juice you should try water, coffee, or tea but watch your intake on the amount of sugar that you use or the amount that you drink if you opt for the coffee and tea.
With these three things you could be on your way to a healthier skinnier you. With all diet and exercise programs you should always contact your primary health care provider.
