3 Top Day Spas in New York City

So you are feeling stressed and want to treat yourself to a nice day spa in New York City. There are many options but some are a way better experience than others. These are the top 3 I have been to and each time I go I have an amazing experience.

Bliss Spa
Bliss is a great day spa with 3 locations in New York City. One is in Soho, one is in Midtown on 57th Street, and one is on 49th street located in the W hotel. Bliss offer tons of spa packages and individual services. One of my favorites is their 75 minute "Blissage". It is near perfection longer than 60 minutes and goes head to toe so you really feel every inch of you being massaged and relaxed. Bliss is pretty expensive but it isn't only about the services it is about the atmosphere and the products they are using. You can make a whole day out of lounging around there. There is a lounge to relax as you wait for your appointment as well as showers and saunas available to relax. Bliss is a great escape from the hustle and bustle of New York City and a great day spa experience.

Cornelia Day Spa
I had the pleasure of recently trying this hidden gem of a day spa. It is located on 5th avenue in Midtown in New York City. I must have passed it a million times before but never noticed it. Cornelia is truly a getaway experience. When you first enter there is a hair salon, a stream of water, teas, and cookies. The locker room is nice and has robes, slippers, steam rooms, and showers to use. You wait to be called in a relaxation room with different waters, teas, magazine, and plush chairs. I got a spa pedicure while I was here and it was great. We were truly pampered for over an hour with massages, exfoliation, and hot paraffin. The best part of the pedicure is that you can take home the polish they used on you for touch ups. They don't rush you at all which is nice and you can really relax. Another great perk is in the summer they have a rooftop where they offer manicures and pedicures. It can be expensive but overall it was a great getaway spa day. Mario Badescu
Celebrity loved Mario Badescu is another top day spa in New York City. It is located on 52nd street in midtown. Mario Badescu is more about the actual procedures and amazing products than the super relaxing spa experiences that Bliss or Cornelia bring you. The facials are to die for and the prices here are amazing. Considering you are getting such great services with great products you can give up the plush robes. The facial is the most popular item and it runs about $65. It is a great experience and you feel relaxed and revived after it is over. They really work on your face to remove blackheads and then put on a mask to revitalize you. You can get free samples after it is over and recreate the experience at home. I have also had a massage here and it is pretty nice. It is not as great at Bliss or Cornelia but once again you aren't paying the prices at those spas. These are some of the 3 top day spas I have experienced in New York City. They range in services and prices and even in experience but overall all of them made me feel great after I left. It is great to know when you can't leave New York City you can still feel like you can get away for a while.
