3 Ways to Choose the Ideal Shoes

Beckie Yoon
We all love shoes which can match our outfit, and it's no wonder when you open the closets of both men and women to find dozens of pairs of shoes perfect for different occasions and in different colours. But finding the right shoes to buy is not easy, and truth is, we all have those perfect shoes in our closet which we barely even wear once a year. When purchasing shoes, you need to match some guidelines in order to guarantee the best purchasing decision. It's no use having a million pairs of wonderful looking shoes if you can't even show them off to others.

Make sure they're comfortable

Ladies, I know what you're thinking. Beauty doesn't always come with comfortableness; however, truth is, you don't normally pick shoes that don't feel comfortable on you. In fact, as much as you love them, you'll avoid wearing them, and give yourself excuses too. What's the use of buying a pair of shoes you're never going to wear? As well, if you're not comfortable in the shoes, you can look pretty funny when walking down the street; you'll even have a higher possibility of tripping and falling which definitely isn't attractive to anyone at all. If you're shopping online, make sure all the measurements fit your feet correctly before making a purchase.

Clothes that match with your outfits vs. price

Also, choose shoes which will match with many different outfits. The best colours are normally colours like brown, black, white, etc. Also, match the shoes and the outfits they'll match with the price. If you're going to purchase a $200 pair of shoes make sure that the shoes is well worth the price, and doesn't only match one outfit. A $30 shoe may be acceptable to only match outfit, but if you can only wear the shoes with a specific outfit then chances are you won't be wearing them often - especially when your favorite outfit becomes replaced with another as the trend moves on.

Don't choose based on the current trend

Choosing shoes which are only trendy for the next 2 seasons is not a smart move. Trends move on, and 2 months later, you'll find yourself with an out-of-date pair of shoe which doesn't look that good anymore. It's definitely not well-worth the price especially if you have to buy other shoes. It's not a horrible thing if it's only a pair of shoes, but do not attempt to replace a whole wardrobe every season. You won't be able to afford it every time. Instead, choose classier, stylish shoes which will last for a couple of seasons.
