3 Ways to Decorate with Tuscan Flower Pots in the Kitchen

Ann Siper
Tuscan flower pots are an affordable way to decorate an Italian kitchen in a warm friendly look on a budget. You can use Tuscan flower pots, garden containers, and even hand painted Tuscan flower pots to decorate your kitchen in a variety of ways, so check these out and get creative.

Tuscan Kitchen Flowerpot Décor #1: Fountain

Tuscan flower pots can easily be turned into awesome fountains to set on the counter in your Tuscan kitchen. This is a super easy home project and you get a custom fountain in return.

The fist step is buying a fountain kit at your local garden store or home improvement store. Look for kits that fit the size of your Tuscan flower pot or herb pot. In most cases you will need to use a pot that does not have a hole in it. You can plug this hole if needed with epoxy glue and a plastic flowerpot hole plug.

After that simply follow the instructions on your fountain kit and enjoy!

Tuscan Kitchen Flowerpot Décor #2: Hanging Baskets

You can take pre made Tuscan kitchen flower pots and hand them just like baskets from the ceiling or hooks in the wall. This gifts a great look for fruit or even hanging lowers. I like to use Tuscan flower pots that already have holes made into them so they can hang.

If you can not find hanging flower pots in a Tuscan theme, then try panting out your own. This makes them must more affordable. You can also use plastic terra cotta pots and paint them for a more light weight look. Fill with fruit like lemons and oranges and you are finished.

Tuscan Kitchen Flowerpot Décor #3: Lamps

Finally, lamps. You can take a large Tuscan flower pot and turn it into a lamp base. You will want to use the hole on the bottom and epoxy a plumbing pipe right tin the center. This needs to be about 1 inched taller than your pipe.

Use a lamp kit and run the cord through the pipe and out the bottom hole. You can install the metal light bulb holder in the top of the metal pope to create the lamp. When choosing the pipe you will want to read the instructions before hand ad see what size column (pope) the lap kit can be installed on.

Choosing the lampshade will also complete the look of this Tuscan lamp. Look for an aged creamy white for an older look.
