#1: Crossing a Chicago Street
Chicago drivers are a cold, careless, and risk taking bunch. When crossing any Chicago street you are definitely at risk of losing your life - no matter what color the light is. Before crossing any street in Chicago, you must look north, east, west, and south before you put your foot in the street or you are at risk of losing your life. Chicago drivers will hit you and get mad at you for being in their way.
Traffic is a beast in Chicago. Cars whiz by at a life threatening speed with no regard at all for the lives they are putting at risk. You better have your running shoes on when attempting to cross a street in Chicago because running is the only way you'll make it across the street alive.
#2: Driving on the expressway
Driving on the expressway in Chicago should be considered and Extreme sport like MotoX, base jumping or rallying. As soon as you try to merge onto the expressway you risk crashing into drivers that refuse to let you on and will speed up and risk both of your lives to make sure you don't get ahead of them. Speed demons zoom past you, large Mack trucks box you in, and no one will ever let you get over.
In order to get anywhere on the Chicago expressway, you have to show the other drivers that you care less about risking your life than they do. You have to be risky and almost invite death. Instead of being cut off, you have to cut other drivers off, and if you want to get over you have to take it.
#3: Riding the bus in Chicago
Somehow the CTA thought they'd be able to stop violence on buses by placing cameras everywhere, but all they've managed to do is document the violence as it occurrs. Chicago buses are a great place to go if you would like to be trapped in a terrorist-like situation with no escape or protection.
Wild fights, crazy people, drunkards, and social deviants board the buses every day, and they are a ticking time-bomb waiting to explode. Bump into one of these people, look at them the wrong way, or sit in their favorite seat and they'll go ape s#@t.
