Cheap Refrigerator Makeovers #1: Fabric Coat
Ok, this is one of my favorite ideas for making over a fridge. You can use textured fabric to create a whole new look on a really outdated fridge. Try to use a fun fabric like burlap. This will allow bits of tiny pieces of color (like the orange or avocado green) show through the fabric.
For this look you will want to cut out panels that fit each portion of the fridge. Coat that piece of the fridge with a spray on adhesive, and then press the panel into place. To cover rough ends you will want to use flat ribbon and glue into place with a high grade fabric glue! Fun! Coat this one with fabric protectors that block against stains or even paint out in a clear paint.
Cheap Refrigerator Makeovers #2: Wall Paper
OK, for this idea you want to look for those white wall papers that are made from vinyl and have different textures on them. You can use a heavy duty spray on adhesive again here and cut out the panels as described before.
Tip: Make sure your edges are cut sharp and meet perfectly. You want this look lone one piece. You can also wrap the pieces in one piece, like a gift box lid.
Once the glue has dried you can paint out your fridge in any color! This one is fun and funky for a retro kitchen!
Cheap Refrigerator Makeovers #3: Appliance Paint
Finally, the old stand by. If covering your fridge is just too out there for you, then check out spray on appliance paint. The look is getting better every year as paints get mor high quality.
You can buy appliance paint in black, white, and even a faux stainless steel. The look is great, but you will need a few tips.
First, take your fridge outside. These paints can be smelly. The sun will also help your paint dry much more quickly on the updated fridge. Some greet creative with this one and get a little help taking your outdated fridge outside.

i am looking into how to cover or paint my fridge. One possibility I found is to purchase magnetic sheets. These are about 24" side and are sold by the foot. 10 feet is about 55.00 I was looking at black but there are other colors as well. Do an internet search for magnetic sheets.
more great tips, I think I will give this a try on our old freezer that is on our closed in porch. Hugs Mary
