30-second Animated Shorts: Show Bunnies Can Act Too

Can you name any famous bunnies off the top of your head other than Bugs Bunny and the Energizer Bunny? Well, these particular bunnies don't have famous names, but the animated shorts they are in can speak for themselves. Throw a bunch of floppy-eared fur balls into a cartoon, use 30-seconds to parody a movie and there you go, quality entertainment at its best.

Angry Alien Productions: 30-Second Bunnies Theater is one place you can watch these acting bunnies, Starz on Demand is the other. Who knew that watching bunnies act in a short parody of Reservoir Dogs, Jaws, A Christmas Story, King Kong, Spider-Man 1 and 2 combined and much more would be so amusing? And you thought those chimpanzee parodies they played on TV were entertaining. Guess again!

There are currently 34 bunny shorts on the Angry Alien Productions site, with more to come. There is even a request page you can wander through to see if your favorite movie is going to be made into a 30-second bunny parody.

The concept began when a person, who only goes by the name Jennifer on the website, took a sabbatical after graduate school to work on her first cartoon short. We can all thank her for that because now the rest of us get to enjoy the outcome of such talent.

Top five reasons to watch these animated shorts:

#5 -Reservoir Dogs, bleeped and unbleeped version. If you need a good little laugh watch this short a couple of times. I guarantee it'll cause some laughter.

#4 -Borat. Now that I've watched the bunny rendition of the movie, it saved spending money to go see it in a theater.

#3 -The bunnies themselves. The voices of the bunnies are quite funny and cute, so are the floppy-eared fur balls themselves. Each 30-second movie theme song, which is hummed by a bunny, is amusing as well.

#2 -There is all sorts of animated bunny shorts. The list of shorts ranges, so you will probably be able to find a movie that had a reasonable amount of notoriety in the theaters.
