At first, however, the taste didn't personally appeal to me. That's not to say all of the aforementioned is nada. The lil' lady happened to pick up a few items at Whole Foods, and picked up a carton of juice I always pass on, since I simply don't prefer the taste of it too much. Yet, since everyone in the house seemed to be now passing on it, as well, and it was just sitting in the refrigerator, and I'm ticky about wasting food, I went ahead and started drinking it. After the second or third juice glassful, my taste buds were singing a new tune. The juice combination of pineapple, orange, and banana became quite a bit more desirable.
Nutrition Appraisal
Let's go over the noteworthy nutrition facts. Each eight ounce serving is going to give you 120 calories from a great energy source. There are about eight servings per carton. No fat, and negligible sodium is to be found in each serving. What you are getting though is 310 mg, or a daily value of 9%, of potassium; 30 grams, or a daily value of 10%, in total carbohydrates, of which 25 grams is sugars; and, a daily value of 100% for vitamin C.
There is one additional juice in the blend not prominently mentioned on the front of the carton: apple juice. The only drawback about this juice is that all of them except for the banana, that's from a puree, are from concentrate. Value judgment, or not, on the part of Whole Foods, it would be so much better if its 365 Everyday Value line of organic foodstuffs produced an even juicier juice a la not from concentrate.
Summary
To summarize, if you like the juice blend this review is about, then you can't go wrong with the Whole Foods 365 Everyday Value brand. The price is good compared to even non-organic juice. If you haven't tried 365 Organic Everyday Value Pineapple Orange Banana Juice, give it a try. You may like it right away, or it just may grow on you, too.
